Connie's Jane...in all her glory!

First of all, thank you so much for your encouragement and cheerleading throughout this entire process. I love you, my quilting sisters, so much!

The signature block, done like Jane's, although she had 5603 pieces and hers was in wartime 1863.

And here she is. 159 inner blocks, 54 pieced border triangles, 54 solid triangles, 4 kite corners. No repeat of pattern or fabric....Hallelujah! I added the solid muslin border to stabilize it while it's quilted and to form the scallops at the end of the triangles after quilting. Whew...do I really have to quilt it? Yep. I do. but the pressure's off.
Now, it's off to the mountains! Can't wait!

Flying Geese Tutorial with NO Waste!

Hello quilters!  I have an internet quilting friend who lives in Washington state who I have never met in person, but with whom I have done an online swap.  She is very talented and has a geometrical mind!

Here is the link to a Flying Geese Tutorial she posted about a year ago; I just found it.  I am ready to do Geese now!

Happy Quilting!

Coral Baby Quilt DONE!

I got it finished today!  I was almost finished last night when we had to go into the basement because of the storms. Glad Margeaux, who is home from college, had a paper to finish up : )
