Here's a close-up of the Marine Corps fabric. I didn't want to sub-cut it so I used it as a panel. Then I just added inner borders and stars to fit. -- Carol B.

Finally! It missed his birthday by 6 months but I finally finished the quilt for Andrea's boyfriend Ben, a Marine. What better time to give someone a flannel quilt than during the hottest summer on record?
