Courage is a wonderful thing!

I finally put my big girl panties on and loaded the wedding quilt I made for Grace and Chachi. It was finished in November of 2010, even before he asked her....he had asked us, just not her. I debated and hemmed and fretted about how to quilt it. My skills are just not ready for a custom on this, although that was my desire. I wanted the quilt completely done by me for this special gift. After all the delay, purchase of stencils, practice and not liking what I did, my good friend advised me to buy a panto I loved and just DO IT! I had wanted to give it to them for their first anniversary June 17, but will be slightly late. Here it is on frame! Pssst! It's a surprise, so don't mention it in public yet! Will finish today!

Wedding Quilt

My daughter Jacqueline and her husband Luke just moved into their own home and the first thing she did was set up their bed with their wedding quilt. Makes a momma feel good. This is why we do what we do eh girls?
